Abstract: This is the first 'Editorial' of the International Journal of Business Science and Applied Management. The journal was launched in summer 2006 and since then we have published three volumes, seven issues and more than 25 papers. In most occasions, each issue of the journal is accompanied by a book review relating to business and management topics.
